Mrs. Joseph Straughn, daughter of Mrs. Mary Doss, died at her home in Rockville, on Wednesday of last week, and was buried on Friday. Mrs. E.C. Dietrich attended the funeral. She leaves a mother and several children. She underwent an operation for cancer some time ago and never rallied. -- kbz
